Captain Yange blends awesome melodies, heavy grooves, strange time signatures and intriguing lyrics. The songs always challenge the listener, but have an intriguing quality that will draw you in and leave you wanting more.

The band’s sound is original and sounds like the place where the Chilis and U2 meet. Big influences include Nirvana, The Beatles, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin and Nick Drake.

They now have a collection of 30 new songs for their next album, and are gigging around the UK. They have secured a residency at a local venue and built up a strong local following.

Headline appearances so far include The Underworld (Camden), and the HMV showcase at The Late Room (Manchester).
