Cameron James is a multifaceted and skilled songwriter. He excels in lyrics, melody and theory; singing, piano, guitar and production. He writes both individually and currently is co-writing with several talented Nashville songwriters. In 2005 after 23 years of songwriting for fun, Cameron sold his successful business to pursue professional songwriting. At the beginning of 2006, utilizing his business skills, he opened the Portland Oregon chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Six months later he moved to Nashville, riding the wave of hope, faith and dreams. His wife Jody is the rock supporting his dreams, giving him confidence to change his life for the better. Songs like “Get Back On”, “Wingin’It” and "My Heart Shows the Way" reflect their journey and the inner strength to follow dreams where ever they lead.
