Brian was born in Connecticut, and started playing guitar at 13 after a fellow student performed for his class. Brian's excitement caught his teacher's attention, and she gifted him one of her old guitars. One day, Brian's father gave him a BB King record and that quickly hooked Brian on the power of music. He then attended Berklee College of Music, where he studied Production and Engineering, and graduated with his Bachelor's in 1997.

After graduation, Brian moved to California. There, he began his career by working with many well known artists and companies through local recording studios, such as Barry Manilow, ABC, and Disney. Since then, he has served as playback editor for live performances, and as music supervisor/editor for network television and audiobook projects.

In recent years, Brian has been songwriting, composing, and doing voiceover work. He writes in many styles, most notably pop/rock, orchestral, and hard rock. Occasionally, he releases records of his own music.
