Brent Bennett has been working professionally as a musician for over 20 years. He has a huge archive of self-composed music of various genres.

He performed with bands in California, playing his original music and opening for such artists as John Waite and Echo & the Bunnymen, before returning to Indiana.

He wrote all the songs and provided lead vocals and guitar on Ballast's self-titled 2000 album. He joined Sindacato in 2004, playing bass guitar and helping with writing and vocals. His original song "My Kind of Woman" appeared on the band's 2005 album, "The Cord."

"Crossing the Country" (2005), a country rock-flavored CD, and Brent's second album, "Under My Own Power" (2006) are receiving extensive worldwide airplay. "The Movers Are in Town" (2007) is being played in Australia. Brent's solo blues CD, "It Must Be the Blues," was released in 2008. "A Ghost in Indiana" and "Brent-Strumentals: Relax" were released in 2009.

He is a Raven West Guitars endorsed artist.
