Bob Island has been writing great songs for many years and draws on an extremely wide range of experience and personal accomplishment. In addition to touring Western Canada as a single performer he has worked as a roughneck, farmer, golf course technician, and as a guard in a maximum security prison in Texas. He has even found time along the way to obtain an MBA. (Magna Cum Laude!)
