Bluesheat treat their audience to an inspired
and varied mix of their own interpretations of tracks by great bluesmen like Elmore James,
Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf with a range of blues styles like boogie, jungle, rock, shuffle,
slow, swing or jump.
Besides more or less well known classics there is ample room for danceable band originals
like the boogying 'I'm coming home' by Wouter,the melancholic "'Nothing moving me",the stomping "Don't fall in love" and local dialect favourite "Swoar an de grond" by Erik. Frontman Erik whips up the audience and urges them to take part in the show,
sometimes even supplying them with
tambourine or washboard.....
Bluesheat are a regular guest in the Netherlands on several blues events around the country, including a yearly tour of the
island Ameland.
