Blaq Magiq Musiq was founded in 1999 by songwriter and producer Steffan Cooks. Being a former aspiring performer hiself, Mr. Cooks decided to turn his love for poetry and verse and unique ear for music into a full time pursuit of his dreams to share his vision for music's "Next Step": creations that do not 'follow', but offer a mixture of respect for the artform's pioneers and an appealing taste of the present and the future.
