Bio

Ben Benefield has been composing and writing music for 12 years. His latest project is a combination of film music and smooth beats, all based around piano melodies. The album is called "Fantasy" which can be heard on this site under instumental works.

Ben has produced artists in the styles of Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dance and Country.

Ben's goal is to succeed in writing music in the Film, T.V and Commercial Industries. He is currently completing a degree in media composition.

Ben Benefield started his career in music in musical theatre, writing the full length musical "Jumping Over The Moon" which performed at the Miraz Center in Minesota.
He later went on to work with partner Andrew Staupe in adapting Arthur Miller's the Crucible into a full stage musical.

Ben Left Minesota to persue a career in Los Angeles, working with groups as "Outsiders for Life" and performing in the group "One Common Ground" which performed at the "Young Artist Awards" and was featured on MTV's Mandy Moore show and Joshes Corner. While in LA Ben also directed his first movie entitled "The Lost Race" A feature film based on teens who are abandoned in the mountains.

After directing and scoring his first movie he went on to develope film scores for the Los Angeles Film school and other independent produciton companies.
