Out of the remote and laid back town of Gonubie (Near East London), comes a new addition to the South African music scene in the form of a punk/hip-hop partnership that is currently taking the Eastern Cape by storm.

The high energy punk mixed with heavy grooves and catchy rhymes is the result of a collaboration between two well established entities in the form of punk rock band, ‘Undignified’, and hip-hop legend, ‘Trusenz’.

By chance these two musical forces met at a Springbok Nude Girls concert, where Tru (being the MC at the event) performed an impromptu rhyme busting session with the backing of Undignified.

After the above mentioned concert, a friendship was formed and a collaboration was inevitable. The group now known as ‘B.E.E.’ (Black Economic Empowerment) was officially formed in April 2006. In this short time they have accomplished much including winning the categories of ‘Best Band’ and ‘Best Song’ at the annual ‘Live Music Awards 2006’.
