Barbara Kelly has been composing and singing since 1972. She sings BeBop, Torch and Lounge (Jazz). She has perfomed mainly in New York, Ireland and Los Angeles. Her latest shows were perfomed at the Cinegrill/Hollywood-Roosevelt Hotel. She has sung on several albums, including a track on a Stanley Clarke album in 1978.

She performed both onstage and in the studio with The Fowler Brothers, two of whom have recorded with Frank Zappa.

Her songs, "Shattered" and "Ready, Set, Go" have been covered by countless performers.

National Public Radio has aired her version of the Celtic Classic, "Shuil Arun".

Barbara also teaches "Voice", specializing in range and pitch improvement, Jazz stylizing and phrasing, Irish/Celtic stylizing and phrasing as well as perfomance techniques/stage presence.

My keyboard playing is mediocre at best. My rock drumming is adequate. But I can sing Jazz like nobody's business. So there!

I'm Irish, so I can sing a few Gaelic tunes quite well.

But JAZZ is the "thing" when all else fails.
