Up and coming "acoustic country punk" band Bad Bad Meow recently migrated from the deep south of North Carolina to take the city of Chicago on a ride. The band delivers a fun, energy packed set with clever and edgy lyrics that you can't help but find yourself humming later. They've successfully created their own unique style vaguely reminiscent of The White Stripes, Violent Femmes, or the Pixies. Singer/guitarist/evil genius Alen Khan and drummer Sarah Sydow have been playing together for over four years under a multitude of equally crazy band names before they settled in Chicago and joined up with local slide guitarist Chris Ray (and an ever rotating cast of guest musicians equally charmed with the music and enthusiastic to collaborate with the genius that is Bad Bad Meow).
