Punk Ass Mo Fo is an American punk blues band from Dallas, Texas. Their sound is Heavy on fuzzy guitars, driving bass and solid drum beats, with the vocals slid in just on top. Chuck Berry, the "father of rock'n roll" said "the blues had a baby and they called it rock'n roll " and Punk Ass Mo Fo came from blues, rock and punk. Steven Ford, singer, guitarists, and songwriter for Punk Ass Mo Fo over many years has had the opportunity to perform and do shows with such blues and rock greats as ZZ Top, Chuck Berry and Kenny Wayne Shepherd and has used those influences in Punk Ass Mo Fo to make a Texas punk blues band. The name Punk Ass Mo Fo was suggested personally to Steven at a show at the House of Blues by guitarists extraordinaire, Earl Slick, as a cool band name and Steven went with it. Other members of Punk Ass Mo Fo include Johnathon Jackson, on drums and vocals, the producer and drummer for Bravo, Max! Steven Hebert on bass.
