Award winning composer, flutist, saxophonist, bass player and multi-instrumentalist. Robert has performed in such diverse settings as BAM (Brooklyn Acadamy of Music, The Kennedy Center, The Troubadour and CBGBs, among many others. His compositions have been performed throughout the US and Canada including performances at The Kennedy Center, Desert Dance Theater and NYU. His works have been aired on National Public Radio and Turner Television. Robert has also played flute with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and currently plays saxophone and flute with the jazz group Boplicity.

Robert Rabinowitz

Robert has a Master's degree in Music Composition from Arizona State University where he studied with James DeMars and Glenn Hackbarth, along with Master Classes from Philip Glass and John Cage. His compositions have won numerous awards and grants including a BMI Award for Excellence in Music Composition, Arozona Composer's Forum grant, and Arizona Council for the Arts grant to perform at museums throughout the state.

Robert also has been commissioned to write music by a number of varied choreographers including Dennis Wright, J. Christopher Potts, Sally Radell, Peg Harper, The Yard, Desert Dance Theater and many more.
