RedOak aim to innovate. Shemer Steinlauf, Ron Or-El, Daniel Vulikh and Tako strive to combine their love for the "down and dirty" of grunge and industrial rock with powerful harmonic vocals. Reborn with this new found hunger from the ashes of their previous project - MadHatter, in early 2009, RedOak released their first EP - "Beyond the Hat" in October later that year. In this album they showcase the distinct blend of Tako's and Daniel's voices, Shemer's dominant, melodic bass sound and Ron's all around genius at guitars and anything digital. The drums ,that can be heard on Beyond The Hat, were recorded by some guy no one knows overseas.
RedOak, known for their electrifying live shows, have begun to claim the local club scene with their debut show on 8.10.09 at the Sublime Sound Bar, Tel Aviv. At this time the band prepares for the inevitable tour on the Holy Land and outside of it.
