The William Breadman Project is a research endeavour by brazilian guitarist William Breadman. In it, he delves into the universe of pop music, focusing specifically on power pop and easy listening songs. While Breadman’s previous experience is largely as largely as rock guitarist – he has played for years in Brazil as a lead guitarist and vocalist with a traditional rock and roll band. Influenced by american west coast music – he has always felt the lure of pop. Now he finally has the opportunity to explore this style through a classic power trio setup.

Breadman has worked hard on identifying the elements that have turned pop into a worldwide mass-culture phenomenon. It’s hardly surprising that he has reproduced its hallmark features in his work: catchy tunes are supported by non-conventional musical structure and solid beats, while snappy choruses give way to creative guitar riffs.
