Victor is a native of Los Angeles, California. He began his musical career playing piano at age three. In his formative years of experimental study, he was honored with remarkable encouragement. While exploring various types of music, he was strongly influenced by the music of the jazz masters and arts such as Ron Kenoly, Josef Zawinul, McCoy Tyner, Cuba Gooding Sr., Herbie Hancock, Jeff Lorber, Chick Corea, Johnnie Hammond, Kurt Carr, Stevie Wonder, Ahmed Jamal Eldar, Prince and a host of others. His openness and awareness to all kinds of music, combined with Gospel, heavy Funk, jazz, rhythm and blues, and classical influence, laid the foundation for the well rounded, extremely gifted musician and singer he is today.
In 1974 Victor was the main keyboardist for the group Rose Royce on Whitfield Records. To further his study of playing, recording and producing, Victor became a studio musician for MCA - Motown and Whitfield Records. It was during this period that Victor's writing abilities were brought to the forefront. His mastery of the acoustic keyboard's and synthesizer programming expertise quickly thrust him into the thick of the music scene. In 1994, Victor decided on a change of scenery and moved to Contemporary Gospel Instrumental music along with becoming a Keyboard soloist where he has found his way with many new musical experiences.
Victor is now based in Hawthorne, California, and along with his schedule for his busy production studio LoVi Production, Inc.;
