About Gabriel
Gabriel was born to Italian immigrant parents in the Republic of Djibouti, a former French colony in East Africa. He developed a passion for music at a young age, as his father played the accordion and piano and mother owned a popular record store.
As a teenager, he moved with his family to South Africa, where his talents first began receiving public recognition. He has traveled and performed around the world, and speaks fluent English, French and Italian.
At a young age, he began intensive voice and stage training and, while still in his teens, made his professional debut as the lead singer and chief songwriter of a Pop/Rock band called IN A GLASS HOUSE, headlining venues ranging from intimate clubs to stadium arenas. When the group disbanded, Gabriel decided to pursue a solo career and explore his many talents, including acting. Over the next few years, he enjoyed a highly successful and multi-faceted career. gaining critical and public acclaim for his work on stage (numerous roles, from HAMLET to THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW ), as well as TV and radio. During this time, he continued to write and record original pop material, lending his skills to various musical projects.
On the strength of his achievements and success in the entertainment industry, Gabriel was granted permanent resident status in the USA in 2000, in the special category ..Alien of Extraordinary Ability... He has been living in Los Angeles ever since, performing throughout the country and abroad in the popular Rock show, VOX LUMIERE.
In 2005 Gabriel met Max Di Carlo, a prolific composer and producer of numerous international multi-platinum selling artists.
After striking a friendship, the two men decided to try writing together , and quickly came to realize that they had something special in the making. They have been making music together ever since.
