Mack Doss
Born July 14, 1947 and raised in Bradenton. Fl.
Mack's first rock and roll band the "Thunderbeats" in 1963. The Thunderbeats became one of the best known bands in the Tampa Bay area. Mack played guitar to back up artists such as Neil Diamond, Freddy Cannon, Charlie Rich, Billy Joe Royal, and Tommy Roe.

In 1967, Mack joined the "Classic IV" and recorded their hit song "Spooky" that sold three million copies, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Charts in 1968.

Mack continued his career playing for recording sessions and on stage until 1999 when he returned home to Bradenton. In October 2000, Mack was honored by the State of Florida when he was inducted in the Florida's Rock and Roll Legends, in an exhibit of music history entitled "Follow that Dream".

"My musical gifts come from my dad who was my teacher and inspriation. He taught me one other valuable lesson, to share with others." Mack Doss continues to write and record music in his Bradenton.
