In a stagnant urban music scene Cornelius Taylor (aka Slo Burn) is quickly making a name for himself as a strong contender in the search for the next hot producer as he has recently received acclaim for remixes done for Ciara and Omarion and won the 2005 IndieTunes Song Contest award for Best Urban Song. With roots in the church, this Sacramento-based producer counts Stevie Wonder, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Teddy Riley, Dr. Dre and DJ Quik as the producers who most influenced him . As a testament to his ability to work effectively in various styles he is finishing up production on a smooth jazz project tentatively titled "The Moods of Philly" which will feature instrumental covers of various hits from the hit-making production team of Gamble and Huff. The album is scheduled for a mid-2006 debut and will be released on the RnB Entertainment label and distributed by Universal Distribution.
