'America's Wildest Party Band' - WHOOPING CRANES is an Atlanta - based, high energy, variety rock soul dance band performing a wide spectrum of dance music for people who like to party! The music of Whooping Cranes includes an impressive repertoire mixture of rock, soul, swing, alternative rock, R&B, blues, and funk, with a twist of lime, a splash of reggae & calypso, and also occasional jazzy surprises.

Additionally, the band released their CD/album: WHOOPING CRANES 'Rock With the Flock', which includes 60+ minutes of original music in the wide variety of styles they are known for performing.

The Whooping Cranes band performs at private & corporate parties, wedding receptions, at many colleges, and also golf and country clubs in the region. This group is ready to play shows as a rock soul dance band, or as a groove-oriented alternative music band. They also enjoy playing original music shows as well. The group added real horn players to the lineup for recording and for larger shows, concerts, & festivals.

Whooping Cranes invited you to come to a party by the pool, hosted by STAR 94-FM Radio DJs, at the Renaissance Pine Isle Resort in Georgia's Lake Lanier Islands every Saturday evening all summer.They've headlined the American Cancer Society's Fundraiser in Gwinnett County of Atlanta. For the Mistletoe Jam, they opened the concert for rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef & Band. They performed many years for Atlanta's American Pie Memorial Day and Labor Day Bash, along with 99X-FM Radio DJs hosting 'Sundays Live on 99X' from the Pie's tropical deck. In downtown Atlanta during the '96 Summer Olympics, they performed many shows on the Budweiser stage in the Olympic Circle. Whooping Cranes band has performed in most southern states, including FL & TX. The band sends out an emailing list of their performance dates and continues to build a strong following. Please send in your request to join the 'Whoopers' Whooping Cranes VIP Fan Club.
