F.M. Spina

I was born in Upstate New York and currently reside in Connecticut, via Texas. I started playing piano at 7 and guitar at 10. When I was in High School, I played rhythm guitar on a jazz record and have been hooked ever since. I still have the first transistor radio I owned and listened to every night as a kid. I've been writing and recording as a songwriter for over 25 years. A portion of my country music collection sits in various publishing libraries, and my songs have been selected in top 10 categories in national contests, featured on TAXI as a Top 10 songwriter and recently placed in the Top 3 - Song Writers Universe Contest.

I'm also interested in producing instrumentals with jazz/fusion/cinema influences for film/TV.  Having lots of fun with that in between writing Indie/Country/ALT rock music.

Open to co-writing if the style fits.

Hi F.M
I Really enjoyed your tracks, the vibe and production feel intentional and well thought out. You've built a sound that translates beyond just listening and feels ready for a wider audience.

I genuinely enjoy supporting artists like this and helping connect their music with active listeners who appreciate the sound and actually engage. I'd love to stay connected and hear more about what you're working on, and explore simple ways to help expand your fan base and improve sales.

If you're open to a brief chat, feel free to reach me.

Great work, this really deserves a wider ear.

Cheers,
Peter

Peter, thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated. I write for artists, mostly pitch in Nashville. What's your background?

Thank you Peter for taking the time to listen and comment. I do appreciate it and happy that you enjoyed what you hear. I also enjoyed listening to your songs. Old Rope of Mine was one of my favorites, but not the only one. Is your music on Spotify? I have a radio station and would love to add a track or two to my rotation. It is Indie-Q-Radio.com Let me know if interested ... and thanks again.

Brian, thank you. Right back at you on that one. I don't perform. I write and create demo's for others to perform in Nashville. I've been using Beaird Music Group for years.

Hi Fred...thank you for the 5 stars on "Valley Of The Brave" this did get picked up a few weeks back (not on this site though!). How did you get on with the mastering tool GW MixCentric....did I mention you will need a limiter on your main stereo out when using this! I never do a mix without it! Hope things are going well for you. David

Hello David. So good to hear from you. I did follow your lead and I use Fab Filter Pro-L as my main limiter. I've been on the "under consideration" list half a dozen times or so, no cigar yet. I do have my new release, "Small Town is Where I'm From", studio version, being reviewed on another site.
