Spencer Thomas has been singing & writing the blues for twenty years in Austin, Texas. His lyric vignettes are steeped in swamp-pop grooves that blend Texas guitar, creole rhythm, & soulful horn riffs. His vocal delivery and stage presence invoke the energy of the great blues shouters, from Big Joe Turner to Delbert McClinton.

In April 2007 Spencer released eleven original songs on his first solo CD, "Voodoo Dream". He was joined by the cream of the crop of Austin's field of seasoned session players.

Coming up in Austin during the post Fabulous T-Birds blues revival, Spencer's first rocking blues band, The Solid Senders (with Keith Ferguson on bass), gained an international cult following after releasing two CDs for Tramp Records.

In 1997, Spencer recorded with guitar-slinger, Pat Boyack, on his CD "Super Blue and Funky" (Bull’s Eye Blues), the duo performed at blues venues and festivals across the country.

Spencer performs with his band at venues throughout Texas.
