This is producer Ingenious. I grew up playing in the percussion section of marching band, concert band, jazz band, and symphonic band. My primary area of focus is Hip Hop, pop, and a little R&B. I venture off from these primary areas often. Really, I make what I feel at any given moment. I rarely have a premeditated plan going into a track unless there's a specific request.
