ariel vizzini

ariel vizzini

For ariel vizzini (Ariel Suzanne Ware Vizzini), music was never a choice: it was atmosphere. Raised in southern Mississippi near New Orleans, she grew up where music filled the air: her father, a former bassist/vocalist for 1970s rock band Thunderhead, and her alto mother instilled melody and instinct early. Singing before memory, she wrote poetry and lyrics by eleven, performed by 2007, and recorded demos by 2010. Now based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, her indie alt-pop spans folk, hyperpop, and dark pop-rock, anchored by emotional clarity. A three-octave mezzo-soprano, she self-produces, layering vocals and synths into dense yet accessible songs. Writing on identity, grief, love, and empowerment, she crafts work that resonates: honest, intimate and unflinching. Her aim is not domination, but connection.
