With the band formed and the band name [anomaly] discussed, argued over and finally decided on they started playing their first shows in March of 2002 around their hometown of Winchester, Virginia. Trying to live up to the band name's definition of being irregular or abnormal they are striving to write songs that are captivating through grinding hardcore riffs, melodic vocals and flowing lyrics, distinct 'catchy' bass lines, and pummeling drums. They mix heavy, 'in-your-face' metal with melodies that create that 'hook' that sticks with you.
