Anil picked up the guitar at 15 and hasn’t stopped playing/writing since. Slowly but surely, he found his own style which blends the traditional classic rock of his early idols with an americana-folk lyrical delivery inspired by his more recent influences in the alternative-country genre.

From the lo-fi punk of “My Immobility Song” to the banjo-riddled bluegrass number “The Don’t Know Blues”, the record is varied in style but tied together by Anil’s soulful lyrics. The album was recorded over a 4-day period of 15-hour studio sessions in Sydney,
