JJ and The Hustlers is a country-rock-blues band comprised of seasoned veterans from the Atlanta music scene. Their lyrical style screams to old school country legends like Willie, Waylon, and Me.The music, though country, rocks. The Who and the Rolling Stones will be proud. With acoustic and lead guitar, fiddle, bass, keys, harmonica and drums backing up the vocals, JJ and The Hustlers have claimed a Southern appeal that will make you grill out on weekdays and throw back a highball or two. 2005’s Favorite Places, the Hustlers’ first full-length album, introduces the band’s own unpretentious hybrid of Southern rock, classic rock and country. These current and former members of the Forty-Fives, the Booze, the El Caminos, the Go-Devils, Drill Team, Hot August Knights, the White Lights, the Warm Inventions, the Lowlife Quartet are actively creating new songs, new tunes, with a unique style. Oh, and they all really like each other. They’re still shaking their heads over it.
