Hard Times is first publicly released album from the young songstress. The album is a blend of the power pop golden days with an urban punk edge. It would have to be somewhere between The Eurythmics, Wham, No Doubt, and Joan Jet. (Up-beat but angry), On the other hand, some of the down tempo songs like, "Catch Me" and "Cry For Creation" leans closer to Peter Gabriel, Seal, and Tears For Fears meeting Sarah McLachlan. Confused on where such a blend could possibly leave it's audience? Take a listen, make up your mind, and get a fresh new way to look at the pop star stereotype.
