Another collection of fine collaborations with my friend in the UK, Broadjammer, Trinity~Greg Beale, on: Amsterdam, Wit or Wisdom, Untold Story, Fate Willing, Autumn Flight, and Solitary Affair. His beautiful, musical productions are always great inspiration for my lyrics and vocals.
A Crime of Passion's lyrics were penned by Calvin McFarland, another friend in music, here on Broadjam, from Texas. I added the music and vocals, and we had great fun. Calvin is a fine lyricist.
Letting Go is an older song, that was written after my sister Camellia's, death. She had asked me to set her poem to music. I said I would. Time kept flowing on, and a couple of years later, she passed through transition. Sitting down to my keyboard, writing and recording this, was the first thing that I did following her interment. I had asked for her Spirit to lead me, as to how she wanted it to sound. I believe the song is at once, hopeful yet melancholy, reflecting my own sentiment, at that time.
