This is a poem that my late sister Camellia wrote, and had asked me to put it to music. I had wanted to, but kept putting it off, and didn't of course, until after she had died. It was the first thing that I did after returning home from her interment. I've always regretted not having done so sooner, while she was still here. Don't put off the things that are asked of us by loved ones, especially, a request to create music from a beautiful, handwritten poem, from a dear sister.
Beautiful, love it. I am jealous of your vocals! Very transcendent with a movie sound track feel. Reminded me a great deal of "Perfect Day" by Miriam Stockley
the mix of the piano and backing strings is very good.Vocals are also mixed nicely, not overpowering or back in the mix.
