Absolution breaks many boundaries that are normally prevalent in "heavy metal". Some songs may be borderline hardcore, some may be acoustic ballads. Absolution expresses emotion first and foremost, and human emotion knows no boundaries. Happiness, anger, love, hate, pride, joy, accomplishment, determination and so much more are all things that people feel within their lifetime. Absolution brings this about through various songs, sometimes within the same song. The band is proud to display it's diversity, and take it's audience on a roller coaster ride of emotion.

This gives the band's songs much more power and meaning. They become something that everyone can relate to, whether it be about living your life to the best of your ability as in the positive lecture of "Starting Now", the frustration and anger aimed at a horrible person that is released in "The Real You", or the sadness of losing a friend that is communicated in "Among the Stars".

When together, these four musicians combine to form a
powerhouse of emotive expression that can be felt by all. Chad and Joe provide the expressive feel of the songs while Tom and Boge make it something tangible, something that can be truly felt. Absolution is the union of four very different people, with very different backgrounds, different influences, different styles. Through it's diversity, the band hopes to unite all who listen to it's music and point out that regardless of who we are and where we've been as people, we all share the same emotions.

and did so without receiving negative reactions.
Many times people have been seen trying to sing along
even though they have never heard the band before.
This indicates that Absolution is on the right path
in songwriting, making the songs catchy. The
intense energy and stage presence at an Absolution
show keeps fans thirsting for more and Absolution
delivers. The band has opened up for national acts
such as Breakin Benjamin and Warrant. Even though
their full-length album debut is due out at the end of
the year, Absolution's fans are already hyped up about
it. They are filling up the comment boxes and
emailing the band asking when it will be released.

The word Absolution means to be forgiven, to be
completely absolved of something. The members of
bsolution have all been in tough places in life and
have risen up and fought their own demons. They
succeeded with the help of music. Now the band hopes
to help their fans through tough times and other
problems through their own music. Many of the lyrics
are positive and uplifting, some are about overcoming
obstacles in life, or living life to its fullest
degree. Absolution's goal is that one day the music
they create will touch someone's life in a positive
way and help them through life, to give them solice through music.
