A Beautiful Relationship

A Beautiful Relationship is my personal attempt at creating something approaching "good music", while trying to learn about music theory and how to combine work "outside the box", that is, in the traditional analogue fashion, with new digital methods. As with many projects in life, it's a work in constant progress.

A lot of tracks could be described (broadly) as ambient or atmospheric and in that respect, I owe a lot to listening to people such as Air, Boards of Canada and Eno. Also, the tempo-bending work of Brubeck's quartet are "responsible" for many of the more experimental pieces.

In the middle somewhere are afternoons listening to Opera (Baroque is my favourite), Louis Jordan and Cab Calloway, Sounds of the 70s (those classic compilation albums), Steve Winwood, Françoise Hardy or Fats Domino. And I could go on ...
