Abbas has played at many venues in England, such as the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the Royal Opera House & City Hall in London, Live Theatre & Gosforth Civic Centre twice in Newcastle, Colchester Music Institute, Lustleigh Village Hall in Exeter, St. George Hall in Bristol twice, Hove, University of London, Roadhouse & Spice of Life in London. In 2006 he played at the Isle Of Wight Bestival concert.
He is a songwriter & multi-instrumentalist, sings & plays LH acoustics5, 12-string acoustic1, electric2 & bass1 guitar, sitar3, tamburas1, western drums1, tabla drums1. In 2004 he toured the UK & the east coast of USA, Boston, NYC, New Jersey, Baltimore, Atlanta, New Orleans & Chicago.
He has recorded on two world music CDs on Koch Records & Navras Records and has performed with famous world-music musicians, members of Jools Hollands RBO and Cornershop. He has now released DEMOLITION; compilation of his studio demo recordings.
At present Abbas is playing 5 shows at The Theatre Royal, Bar Stage, Sounds From A Small Planet - The Second Annual Inernational Summer Festival, supporting the Pre-Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
