Vida started her professional career ten years ago in Rio de Janiero, where she currently resides. She sings weekly in night clubs in that city. she has a half soprano or contralto voice with lyrics she has written herself, accompanied by her own guitor and a small percussion combo. Her music is brazilian popular from romantic to folkloric, specializing in northeast Brazilian music. She hopes to market her first cd in Brazil, the United States and internationally. She appears on television and radio in Rio and has great popular appeal in that city. Her music has a peasant/folk quality, simple and from the heart. Her first CD is entitled, "Vida Sings Love".
