About Triangulation Station
Triangulation Station is a home recording project by Nigel Leppard as an outlet for original material., although Nigel would like to think that maybe some time in the future the material could be performed live if the right opportunities arose.
Nigel is better know as frontman for Island covers bands such as Tash, Lemonwedge and currently Riptide.
When he’s not learning covers for the live pub/club circuit, Nigel enjoys composing his own material which tends to take on a progressive-pop-rock slant.
Under the guise of Triangulation Station Nigel has recorded a demo-album, and continues to write and record although acknowledges that his output is not exactly prolific.
The demo album is called ‘Eponymous First Effort’ and contains the 10 minute + prog track ‘Briony Baby’, plus a number of other shorter songs.
There is also rough demo of a 20min prog opus titled ‘Kindred Call’ in the can that needs to be honed somewhat before being let loose on unsuspecting people. The song is based on Ray Bradbury’s short story ‘The Fog Horn’.
Two other partially recorded songs are also awaiting completion..... perhaps Nigel should call the next album ‘Procrastination’!!!
