Samuel Dozier was born into a musical family, where he was exposed to all types of music, but he admits that R&B, funk, gospel and soul influenced his passion for the art.

He has performed and toured all over the world; playing bass with such groups as: The Checkmates, Rose Royce, R&B vocalist Lenny Williams, old school R&B singing group Friends of Distinction, and the Latin jazz group, Azteca. Recently hooking up with former band member/vocalist Kerry Pinckney they are on a mission to create positive/ creative/ soulful/ R&B music for the masses.

Samuel is currently spending time in his home studio: songwriting, experimenting, listening, reading, learning, and dreaming, all while further developing his recording, mixing, and production skills.
