Canadain born Scott Ryan lives in Freedom maine. He has been song-writing and playing guitar and other instruments from the start. He has performed solo as well as in full collaborations--most notably with "The Beguiled," a Canadian folk-rock band founded in 1997 by Scott and his sister Shaylih. Scott's roots are in Pop/folk, celtic, blues and rock & roll, the Beatles and Dylan being strong influences. Performing primarily original material, Scott's sound is old and new at the same time, traditional and contemporary blended into a timeless style. Scott has just released his first solo album
