Joe Pignato is an independent composer/guitarist from Central Florida. Having studied Film Score Composition through Berklee School of music, Joe is able to combine his knowledge of contemporary orchestral film scoring with his background as a rock musician.
Joe's guitar playing and songwriting skills have been recognized by some of the music industry's top professionals. He was Selected by the editors of Guitar World Magazine as a Top Ten Finalist in the 2009 Shred the Web 2 Guitar contest.
Most recently, Joe was picked by legendary guitarist, Steve Vai as a winner of Guitar Center's Private Sessions and a finalist in London's Institute of Contemporary Music Performance Steve Vai Scholarship
