Gavin Gregory, raised as a child in Warren, Ohio and born into a man in Atlanta, Georgia, Gavin was accustomed to hearing great soul music as a child with his Mother & Father constantly supplying the household with soul legends. As he matured his oldest brother, a jazz musician, bought him his first instrument, a trumpet. His musical tastes broadened and he was exposed to great jazz vocalists and musicians. Gavin moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he dealt with aspiring producers but got involved in musical theatre as well, working in some of Atlanta's most prestige's theatres' such as The Alliance Theatre, Actors' Express, and Seven Stages. He was then cast in Disney's "The Lion King" and in 2006 he was cast in the Broadway hit, Oprah Winfrey's "The Color Purple". He has just released his first full length CD/Album "The First Time Around". Wanting to do film, stage, and music, Gavin is primed to be the next big thing in entertainment.

On Ya Finger is not about bling bling as the title may suggest, but about a symbol of committment in a relationship. BabySista is about domestical abuse. Great song, with a message. Gavin also sings a good love song Over And Over (Again) is sure to put you in a right mood. All songs have been written and composed by Gavin together with Chuckey Charles except for BabySista which was written by Gavin and Don Dodds. Gavin does all vocals on this EP. If you listen to the songs you would think there were other backing vocals, but Gavin's vocal range is very wide. From very high to dark low.

He’s A Millionaire? Is he a millionaire? If he isn’t, he’s well on his way to becoming one. Gavin Gregory is not just a singer but also a song stylist and an actor. Raised as a child in Warren, Ohio and born into a man in Atlanta, Georgia, Gavin was accustomed to hearing great soul music as a child.
After doing a talent show in junior high school, he was completely sure that singing and acting was to be his vocation. He got involved in the arts in school and beyond.
Gavin moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he dealt with aspiring producers but realized he should continue acting as well. There he got involved in musical theatre working in some of Atlanta’s most prestige’s houses. His vocal talents didn’t stop at singing, as he has become one of Atlanta’s top voice over talent for radio and television commercials regionally and nationally.
Now he is currently (since October 2003) performing in the blockbuster Broadway Musical “The Lion King”. He is the understudy for two lead roles, Mufasa and Scar, touring the United States.
Gavin has opened his musical ears to listen to what the world says making his music transcend all ethnic lines by making what so many try so hard to do, SOUL MUSIC. His musical translations unashamedly exposes a mans soul.
