A native of Toronto, Canada and a child of the early 80s DVient, was introduced to hip hop through the influence of his older brother at an early age. Armed with a Yamaha keyboard he possessed an above average ability to create sonically pleasing melodies. Although blessed with this talent, his interests gravitated away from music and into sports. This change in focus led to an academic and athletic scholarship to University. Being 600 miles away from family and friends DVient met and befriended many aspiring musician. Through these friendships and the encouragement of family ultimately pushed him back into music. With a keyboard in hand DVient has been able to create his mark in the music industry.
