Bill began classical piano lessons at the age of six. Later, Bill turned to electronic music, studying with Jerome Margolis. Following his undergraduate work at Duke University, Bill studied at the Berklee College of Music, focusing on film scoring and commercial arranging. In 1996, Bill began film scoring studies at UCLA while working at Hans Zimmer’s Media Ventures facility. Bill left Media Ventures to score "Winston's Secret" for Showtime. Bill then moved through a variety of projects including the orchestral noir score for “Mutual Needs” with Richard Grieco, and the edgy funk score for "In the Name of Justice". Bill recently completed the score for “Nobody Knows Anything”, featuring Janine Garofalo and Mike Myers. He is currently finishing the score to “The Graveyard”, a feature horror film. Bill’s industrial credits include his music for the The Bayer PAA Team Videos 2000 which won the highly coveted Bronze Anvil Award given by the Public Relations Society of America.
