Bethlehem’s own Alexia Zakariya, known as AZA (US), is a singer, songwriter, and creative from the Bethlehem, PA. Born on June 20, 1992, in Allentown, PA, AZA (US) grew up surrounded by music, family challenges, and a drive to rise above it all.

 

From vibing to the sounds of Tupac, Common, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, among other Hip-Hop Artists to soaking up the sounds of Anthony Hamilton, Faith Evans, Prince, Teena Marie, D’Angelo, among many other artists and genres. 

 

Even as a kid, whether it was humming melodies, writing poetry, or sketching drawings, she knew creativity was her lifeline.

By the time she was 15 she was locked in, hitting the studio, writing songs at the library, and finding her voice in the process. Music was always her escape and her motivation to keep going.
