Alternative rock that spans the gap between Alice in Chains and Simon & Garfunkel. 2 1/2 Lounge is based in Brooklyn, NY and plays regularly in the NYC area. Mike Dowd and Neil Seas have been playing together for over 10 years, and have slowly morphed 2 1/2 Lounge from a folk duo into a progressive acoustic-based rock quartet. (They did this by bringing two other people into the band, though. It's not like they just BECAME four people.)
