Along with a few name and band member changes over the years, 1251 has been around long enough for you to realize these guys are serious veterans to rock music. Recently, they were selected as a semi-finalist among national contestants and played in the New Artist Search in Nashville, TN. They are also currently in the running for Hollywood California based Sugarlight Productions, Battle of the Bands hosted in Austin, TX. 1251 is unmistakably on track in seeking their first recording label. They have received repeated radio play of their self produced song “Spurs Anthem.” It was heard on major local San Antonio, TX radio morning shows Mix96.1 and 99.5 Kiss FM during the 2003 NBA playoffs. The band is made up of Nimbus on vocals and bass, Dave Balcer on guitars and David Deiter on drums.
