Holly McWhorter is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (and occasional singer) based in Copenhagen and New York City. Born into a musical family, she's been making music in different contexts since childhood. She studied classical violin through college and now occasionally does live and session work as a violinist, but in 2003 began writing songs of her own, occasionally singing them, and sometimes performing jazz standards.

She plays guitar, electric bass, and keys on these very rough demos of her songs. She recorded the jazz standard "That's All" here with award-winning pianist Nick Rolfe and upright bassist Calvin Jones.
