Cindee's potent blend of rock, pop, blues, & trip-hop stylings create vivid images captured from a complex and tumultuous life. Her rawly seductive vocals and poignant lyricism make for a bittersweet mix of love, hate, and audio genius that catapult the listener headfirst into the torrent.

Bio

Cindee D?Lynn Sharp. That?s my name, though it was almost Cecelia (and my nickname would have been that of a popular American pizza chain). I was born on August 6, 1976 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Damon Sharp, a day after their tenth wedding anniversary. There is truth to the rumor that I was nearly born in an H.E.B. grocery store.

I grew up listening to a diverse assortment of music, including still favorites Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Journey, and Juice Newton. I was a band nerd in school and played the flute in the award-winning, occasional state championship-winning LBJ Fighting Eagle marching and concert bands.

My fondness for industrial and new wave stylings began when I discovered Depeche Mode?s ?Violator? album. I often claim to be ?The Female Depeche Mode? with aspirations of also holding the title ?The Female Nine Inch Nails.? I write both music and lyrics and play piano and keyboards--at times acoustic, at times electronic--in a genre I refer to as Mild Industrial Blues.
