Jim Pearson owns a boutique-sized music studio, is a Producer, Composer, Arranger, Songwriter, World-Class guitarist & gifted keyboard player nimble in numerous styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country & R&B.

Jim began earning a living on stage at the age of 15 & by the time he was 19, his very popular jazz fusion band was performing with Ahmad Jamal, Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Waltrous & the Dixie Dregs; later, Jim played lead guitar for both Edgar Winter & Isaac Hayes. More recently, he has done composing & arranging work along side award-winning greats David Campbell (Tim McGraw/Garth Brooks/Rascal Flatts) & Mark Isham (Crash/A River Runs Through It).

Jim's voice has the grainy, airy quality of Joe Cocker, his guitar chops will bring to mind guys like Eric Clapton, Santana & Stevie Ray Vaughn & his beautiful keyboard melodies will remind you of pros like Bruce Hornsby & Billy Joel. All of this, mixed together with his West Virginia roots makes his music very engaging indeed.

James, I'm listening now to "B in the B" as Bjam has posted a playlist of the winning songs from Can 2 of the 6-Pack. This is a really clever, well-written, -recorded and -performed song--congrats!

the 6 pack is worth a case and more 'cuz it brings members forward that might otherwise not be heard. I consider myself a 'fortunate man' now that your craft is in the forefront. as always, PGO
