Born March 26, 1986 in Atlanta, Georgia, by Leland Austin, Sr. and Angela Roberts at the infamous Grady Hospital, "Yung L.A." is the eldest of 3 sisters and 2 brothers. "Yung L.A." was born with a hustler?s spirit and raised by O.G.'s in the neighborhood.

"Yung L.A." currently resides in The Thomasville Heights Project Community. The streets of "Zone 3" have his back! The support of his music is showed from hood to hood across metro Atlanta from Bankhead's "Zone 1" to East Atlanta's "Zone 6" communities.

"Yung L.A." began rapping at the age of 13 performing for his homies and girls at school yard cafeterias and backyard basketball courts. Unable to get any real exposure to the music industry, "Yung L.A." began trappin illegal drugs at the age of 15 to survive for food, clothing, and shelter. The tragic deaths of 3 of his friends, which tattooed teardrops on his face representin the pain of their loss, brought about the seriousness of him speaking to the hood through the mic.

"Yung L.A." became the voice of his hood. He is the heart of the "Traps" across the city and beyond. His delivery and passion of his music is explosive. "Yung L.A." has the ability to connect with his audience in such a way that no other artist at his age has done in Atlanta. At each show, his presence is captivating and his songs leave the hoods wanting more. His confidence is uncanny and his ambition to be the "Next Big Thang" out the streets of the "A" is second to none.
