VOLA moves on a tiny border between musical expressions, which on one side is earth shaking, complex and intense and on the other side simple, reflective and fragile. Both areas have been explored thoroughly in today's music, but rarely does it work well when you merge the two areas of expression. The sound is not constructed this way just to be different, but as a way of incorporating the many different sources of inspiration found within the band.
