Stereo Side Effect is a power trio boasting '90s alternative rock influences and a modern indie flavor. Justin Bright's distinctive vocals and catchy guitar hooks bounce across duo amps blending well with Brent Fulano's punching bass and the blistering drums of Mike Kuehl. The band is emerging on the Madison music scene with their songs appearing in several short films. They were finalists for Alternative Performer of the Year in the 2015 Madison Area Music Awards, and are currently in the studio recording their debut release. Strong melodies with shades of early punk and modest psychedelic touches help round out their sound. If Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, and Johnny Cash all dropped acid together and had a love child it would be Stereo Side Effect.
